Policies: Images. Refund. Cancellation. Liability.
Rescheduling a Session: Clients may reschedule their session date one time for no additional charge, if at least 48 hours notice is given prior to your scheduled appointment. The full retainer maybe applied toward a new session date that takes place within 30 days of the original appointment date. After 30 days, the retainer will be forfeited and a new retainer will be required to book another session. Any additional reschedule requests beyond the first complimentary reschedule will require a reschedule service fee of $25 due at the time of the rescheduling for each additional rescheduled time.
Cancellation Policy: If client chooses to cancel their portrait session, and do not wish to reschedule, all retainers are non-refundable. If client have paid in full for a session, and cancel at least 72 hours prior to their appointment 50% of your total payment will be refunded and the remaining 50% will be forfeited. If cancellation is made less than 72 hours before client's scheduled appointment, or client does not wish to reschedule, 100% of the total payment will be forfeited.
No Show Policy: If client chooses to not arrive for their scheduled session and do not communicate with the studio within 2 hours of client's appointment time, client will be considered a no-show and 100% of your retainer will be required in order to book another session date.
Late Policy: A 10 minute grace period for all sessions is allowed. If client arrives more than 10 minutes late, client's session will be shortened to remain within the scheduled timeframe. If client arrives 15 minutes or more late without notice, your session will be canceled and your retainer will be forfeited. If something unexpected comes up, please call or email the studio as soon as possible. Communication allows us to adjust smoothly when possible.
Image Presentation Policy: While the artist may photograph several images of you during the session, only the best images that tell your full story as determined by the client, the selections you make at the time of your session, will be edited and presented. The Photographer does not distribute unedited images.
Weather Policy: Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather at the photographer's discretion.
Promotional Use of Images: Images that have been edited and accepted by the client can/may be used by the photographer for promotional use via social media, website, and/or studio printed portfolio and/or display. Any paid opportunities that may involve a client's image (s), that may arise, will be handled in a separate contract between client and
photographer.
Client Participation: Client shall assist and cooperate with Photographer in obtaining desired photographs. Photographer shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of Client’s failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation. Client will be respectful to Photographer and all parties being photographed. Photographer has the right to end the session, without refund, if there is lack of cooperation, respect and/or safety. Client will not hold Photographer or the owner of the property liable for any injury that may occur during the session.
Final Products: All clients will receive edited images electronically a gallery link sent to your email address within 3-5 days. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee and according to my editing schedule. Professional prints can be purchased via Thrive Photography. Print purchases are a separate cost from the session price. You have rights to have the images printed on your own, but Thrive Photography can not guarantee the quality of prints from outside sources. You do not have rights to re-edit images or post images via social media or commercial as someone else's work.
